4h Buggy Safari Tour
East Tour - Konavle Valley or West Tour - Town of Ston

At a distance of only half an hour's drive from Dubrovnik, in the extreme south-east of Croatia, you will find Konavle - a place of history, tradition, olive groves and vineyards. This area is one of the most desirable places for all those who enjoy the benefits of rural life; untouched nature, authentic villages, clean air, local food and wine. It is therefore not surprising that many rural households and wine cellars can be found right here, which are nowadays becoming increasingly popular among world travellers. Historical remains in the form of Illyrian mounds and tombstones can be found in several villages, while life during the Republic of Dubrovnik will be best experienced by visiting the mighty Sokol Grad Fortress. During our ride through the Konavle Valley you will be able to enjoy the beautiful natural landscape and visit some of the locations where you will be able to taste the flavours of traditional dishes. Get ready for a buggy adventure that you will remember for a long time!

Our West Buggy Safari Tour will take us along the winding road of the Dubrovnik Riviera coastline with a beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea and islands, all the way to Ston - the city of stone, oysters and salt. During our ride, we will pass many coastal places. One of them is Orašac, known for the production of olive oil which is still done in the old traditional way, where the mill is being turned by a horse.

Another popular place we will pass is Trsteno, known for its 15th century arboretum, a green oasis which features two 500 year old sycamore trees, a renaissance garden and a traditional summer residence.

The final destination of this buggy tour is the medieval city of Ston, located at the very beginning of the Pelješac peninsula, at the foot of the Podzvizd hill. Upon arrival in Ston you will be in awe by the longest preserved walls in Europe (5.5 km), which connects the city of Ston with the nearby town of Mali Ston. If you haven't had enough adrenaline so far, get ready to climb the steep walls and enjoy a panoramic view of the city, the salt-works and the beautiful nature. Narrow streets, small squares and palaces are characteristic of this city, as well as the inevitable connection with salt production. This is still visible today in the plants of the oldest active salt-works in the world, which has remained faithful to the traditional method of production that has not changed since ancient times. The Pelješac peninsula is often called the gourmet pearl of the Croatian coast, due to the fact the Mali Ston Bay is famous for traditionally growing high-quality oysters and mussels, while all along the peninsula family-owned cellars offering top quality wines grown in this area are welcoming visitors for wine tastings. Join us on this half-day adventure on the Dubrovnik Riviera and spend an exciting day away from the masses!

*During both of our suggested half-day buggy safari tours, we will pass through the mentioned towns and placed. But if you wish to visit and explore them in more detail then the same programs will be conducted as full-day tours with a duration of 8 hours.
