Near the border with Croatia in Bosnia and Herzegovina lies the Popovo field, through which the winding river Trebišnjica flows contributing to its unreal beauty. The vast expanse with the most fertile land in the region is almost completely deserted today. During our ride we will pass an endless series of abandoned villages that alternate along the main road between Trebinje and Zavala until we reach our final destination; the Vjetrenica cave.

Vjetrenica is the largest and most famous cave in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a protected natural monument. Step into the heart of the underworld and be enchanted by its corridors and halls, numerous lakes and waterfalls, as well as streams flowing in various directions. Since the temperature in the cave is around 11 C° all year round, you have to dress warmly, even though summer temperatures outside might be over 30°C.
